Emergencies
In the event of an emergency, please proceed to the emergency department at Chester River Hospital Center located directly behind Minta Martin Hall. If you need assistance call 911 or the College's Department of Public Safety at extension 7810.
The emergency department at the hospital is only for true emergencies. Most insurances will not cover the cost of the visit if it is not an emergency. Colds, flu, urinary tract infections, and bronchitis are some examples of illness that do not meet the criteria of an emergency. Please remember to make every effort to visit the Health Services early in the course of your illness to prevent unnecessary visits to the hospital.
